“I reached out to Nick for help with training for a half marathon. It had been 6 years since I ran a half marathon and I had only recently started running again. I approached Nick for help because of his passion for running, as well as his knowledge and experience. We began by discussing my current abilities, goals, expectations and my willingness to commit and from that, Nick formed a plan! I received a plan each week, varying day to day and I uploaded each run to Strava. I felt having a plan and uploading each run held me accountable, which meant I never missed a run. Having a running plan made running enjoyable, it allowed me to push myself while working towards my goals. I knew what I had to do each day and it kept me focused and driven. I would highly recommend Nick as a running coach, his own achievements are a testament to what he is capable of and he provides the same amount of effort, time and passion into every plan he makes. All of which enabled me to reach a half marathon PB by 20 mins to the previous!”
“Nick has been planning my runs regularly for over 10 years. He takes into account what I have time for each week, where I am and how I'm feeling. I might be training for a particular race, wanting to go further or faster or at times just wanting to keep fit. I love the structure of the plans. No week is the same, and I am so grateful not to have to think about what to do. He has given me huge amounts of advice over the years on kit, fuelling on longer runs and race preparation. I have progressed from being able to jog for 5 minutes to running sub 2 hour half marathons and recently running 20 miles. Nick's plans, feedback and encouragement have been invaluable to me.”
